The ICSI Diary - The Outcome

I visited Hammersmith IVF at 07:00 this morning for a pregnancy blood test and had to wait until 15:00 for the results. Unfortunately, it was not to be this time around and I was remarkably okay on hearing confirmation that the embryos had not implanted. I had done an early home pregnancy test yesterday which had come up negative so was not too surprised.I guess there are more chances in store and I won't have to go through such a high level drug regime and invasive surgery in future. I do wonder if being so close to having Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome may have affected the outcome this time round. Anyhow, we'll see the consultant soon for his opinion. A summary of the drug and testing regime for this cycle is given below for reference.
