The IVF Diary - Eighth Entry

We made it in to Hammersmith IVF for 07:00 and were seen immediately for a scan and blood test.Unfortunately the follicles are not quite big enough as yet for egg collection but the doctor reckons Monday or Tuesday is a distinct possibility.
My husband kindly waited to pick up all the drugs from the pharmacy whilst I made my way into work. I had a meeting with all the partners today and had to attend for 09:30.
The Central Line went down!!!!!!!!! I had to walk all the way to Shepherd's Bush tube to get the Hammersmith & City line into King's Cross and beyond. Luckily there was a direct train to St Albans at King's Cross Thameslink and I made it in with plenty of time to spare.
I need to go back in on Friday for another scan and blood test.
